Who can be considered free in spiritual life?
In a spiritual sense, those who walked away from the sinful course and removed the burden of sin can be considered free. Non-religious understanding of freedom is based on human rights with the statement that a person has the right to do anything he wants, without doing harm to the state or to a citizen of the state mainly regarding life and property.
In this understanding, the emphasis on human rights is often contrary to public rights, as with the protection of the individuals of sexual minorities the rights of society are violated. The rights of minorities are imposed on society that is contrary to the society’s traditions, historical perceptions, and concepts.
